Mission and Activities

The MACHINERY IMPORTERS'- REPRESENTATIVES' ASSOCIATION (MIRA) was established in 1945. Its member companies import and distribute agricultural equipment, earth moving machinery, forklift trucks, road-building equipment, as well as, spare parts, components, lubricants, gardening and irrigation systems and tires. MIRA is a member of the European Federation of International Commerce of Agricultural Machinery and Relevant Activities (FECIMA) The Association activities are carried out, according to its objectives for their fulfillment.
The Association's objectives are:
- Supporting its members to develop their interest in front of any Authority.
Supporting is by means of studding, promoting and protecting the ethical, financial and professional interests of members.
- Establishment of a solid spirit among its members and cooperation during the performance of their professions.
- Requested intervention in differences that arise either between members of it or between its members and foreign businesses representatives, in order to achieve compromising agreements.
- Representation of its members and their interests, both in Greece and abroad.
- Participation in National, European or International Committees, conventions, councils, conferences, exhibitions and shows and generally in any activity that has to do with the Members pursuable objectives.
- Organize conventions, seminars and informative shows, and issuing informative booklets both for its members and public.
The realization of above activities and objectives of the Association should be in any case using any legal and lawful way.
The Association management board are:
General Assembly
Consisting of all the members of the Association
Board of Directors
Consisting of seven regular and two alternate Directors elected through the General meeting of the members every two (2) years.
Auditing Committee
Consisting of two regular and one alternate members, elected through the General meeting of the members every (2) years.
